Position Overview:

The Supplier and Purchasing Assistant will support the recovery of supplier / carrier credit claims through effective and accurate claim preparation and supplier liaison.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accurately entering information into the relevant systems in a timely manner whilst ensuring 
  • quality and accuracy of data 
  • Check and validate completeness of documents before process; check source documents for accuracy and verify data and correct data where necessary 
  • Preparing and submitting credit claims 
  • Communicating with suppliers / carriers to assist with claims and disputes, in line with supplier / carrier trading terms and company policies via phone and email 
  • Building and maintaining close links with all suppliers, to ensure the smooth running of accounts and encourage timely recovery of payments 
  • Accurate data entry and general administrative tasks 
  • Any other task/duty as directed by client/management 

Position Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree 
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications particularly MS Excel and is tech savvy 
  • At least 2 to 3 years of related work experience in administrative functions and customer service 
  • Understanding of credit claims and eCommerce shipping/operational processes is a definite advantage 
  • Previous experience in customer and/or supplier relationship building is preferred 
  • Organized and systematic in handling multiple tasks 
  • Must have effective planning, organizational skills and can work under pressure 
  • High attention to detail, dependable with value for work ethics and customer service 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral 
  • Provide prompt and professional client service at all times 
  • Amenable to work in Bonifacio Global City, Monday - Friday in an early morning shift (6:00 am - 3:00 pm)
