POSITION DESCRIPTION:


The incumbent is responsible for:


  • Providing leadership to a given Accounts Payables (AP)/ Accounts Receivable (AR)/ Record to Report (RTR) team; 
  • Ensuring that appropriate AP/AR/RTR processes, controls, policies and procedures are in place and comply with Electrolux standards; 
  • Ensuring that performance targets are met; 
  • Driving process improvement initiatives; 
  • Being a first point of contact for local GSSO Managers served 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Leading a team that is responsible for AP/AR/RTR processes; 
  • Participating in the establishment of the SLA for the AP/AR/RTR area with the countries, in line with overall GSSC SLA';
  • Monitoring and managing performance in the processes, ensuring that SLA's and business objectives are met and that team resources are allocated ;
  • A successful migration of the AP/AR/RTR work from countries to GSSC through adequate leadership in process documentation, work shadowing and training of a team ;
  • Implementing methods and control tools to ensure stable and high quality in the provided ;
  • Resolution of delivery problems and dealing with complex client questions that your team members cannot resolve ;
  • Timely and properly escalating to GSSC Director and/or local GSSO Manager problems that reach beyond the scope of the migrated Ap activities for the ;
  • Reporting to GSSC Director and, when appropriate, to relevant local GSSO Manager, any deviations from agreed standards (delays, use of wrong templates, missing input). 
  • Contributing to periodic meetings with other Team ;
  • Providing visible leadership to AP/AR/RTR ;
  • Monitoring, coaching and supporting your team members to meet operational plans, development opportunities and career ;
  • Participating in recruitment processes of new team ;
  • Managing team conflicts so that problems are resolved ;
  • Spotting and resolving recurring performance problems and improvement ;
  • Preparing meeting ;
  • Facilitating team meetings using appropriate brainstorming, problem solving, decision making, and project planning ;
  • Managing meetings according to the team has agreed upon ;
  • Delegating team tasks as needed ( recording, gathering information, etc.) 
  • Facilitating ongoing self-evaluation of the team's ;
  • Providing methods to avoid repetitive mistakes within the ;
  • Ensuring that needs of the business are understood within the ;
  • Actively aligning and improving processes in order to deliver quality, productivity and transparency ;
  • Maintain good working relationships with local GSSO managers through open communication on a regular basis and ad hoc as ;
  • Follow up ;
  • Maintaining process maps and desktop ;

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES OUTSIDE OF STANDARD JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Participating in knowledge transfer and process documentation to secure a safe transfer of AP/AR/RTR work from Finance departments abroad to the ;
  • Actively support in the execution of listed AP/AR/RTR processes if ;
  • Sharing knowledge and lessons learnt with all team leaders within own country group and within the ;
  • Actively undertaking activities to increase your own competency portfolio in order to ensure continued effective service delivery within the ;

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:


  • Higher education in accounting/finance, relevant professional qualification (ACMA, ACA, CPA) 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:


  • MS Office, SAP (or other ERP system) ;
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in post qualification accounting and finance,1 to 2 years' experience in a middle management role, including staff management, experienced with Shared Service Centre environment will be an advantage, people & change management as well as working in a multicultural, international environment , understanding of relevant regional accounting practices and the regulatory ;
  • Passion to innovation, customer obsession, drive for results, communicative, team orientated, with analytical thinking, patient, paying attention to the details, organised, training skills, leadership skills, confidentiality, problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate people, with the ability to plan and prioritize own work and other team members, taking ownership and responsibility of outstanding issues and ;
  • Transition experience or SAP implementation ;
  • Full time dedicated - Available to travel wherever the function requires ;
  • Experience in managing projects and in training new staff will be ;

REQUIRED LANGUAGES:


  • English is compulsory. Thai is necessary for Thailand ;
