COURSE DEVELOPER / ENGLISH TEACHER - EFL, ESL, TESOL
Link School of English is a well-established and growing language school for adults in west London. We are currently looking for a Course Developer to join our growing team and help to extend our offer of English courses. This is a middle management position with diverse responsibilities, an excellent opportunity for an experienced English language teacher to progress their career.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Research and development of teaching materials
- Project-based development of new courses
- Testing and implementation of new courses
- Supporting teachers in course delivery
- Taking care of quality of materials and teaching standards
- Teacher training
- Assisting with teacher recruitment #
- Communicating with teachers, managers and administrative staff to assure smooth delivery of courses
- Teaching English to adults
Essential Requirements:
- CELTA or CertTESOL
- DELTA or DipTESOL
- University degree
- 4 - 5 years of relevant teaching experience
- Excellent teaching skills
- Excellent interpersonal and good organisational skills
- Valid DBS check
- Commitment to lifelong learning
- Punctuality and professionalism
Requirements - Desirable:
- Material and course design experience
- Experience in teacher training and management
- Project management skills a plus
- Online teaching experience a plus
- Skills and abilities: taking own initiative, problem solving, creativity
- Friendly, sensitive, but firm management style
