We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced superintendent pharmacist for a long term locum post in Huyton, Liverpool. The role will involve evenings and weekends. The role of the Superintendent Pharmacist is essentially management and administration of the sale and supply of medicines. The Superintendent Pharmacist is essentially the person in overall control of the Management of a pharmacy and includes its professional and clinical management.

The Pharmacy uses Pharmacy Management Software (Cegedim Rx) and applicants should have experience with this software although, applicants will be considered without.

MINIMUM QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS;

• You must be a Fully Qualified Pharmacist.

• You must hold a Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

• You must have appropriate level of Indemnity Insurance for this post.

• You must have a DBS check (disclosure and barring service) However, if you do not have one, we can process a new one for you at your expense.

• You must have the Right to Work in the United Kingdom.

• Identify areas in which we can improve our services.

• Working in partnership with other Healthcare Professionals using your expertise and experience to deliver appropriate levels of care and advice.

• Setting the standards of how a good pharmacy should look and feel.

• Following Company Policy and Procedures.

• Work autonomously and be accountable for your own standards for pharmacy professionals (legally and ethically).
