The role will be based in Beirut. The office is currently located in Beirut Symposium Center, Sin El Fil, next to Habtoor Hotel.

He/she will have outstanding backend coding experience and must be creative; able to work independently with little or no supervision and able to work hard and effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment and willing to work long ;
   

Required Skills 
  

 • Strong backend software development skills and experience 

 • Advanced understanding of PHP (mainly PHP5/7) and MySQL 

• Intermediate to advanced understanding of Git version control 

 • Intermediate to advanced understanding of LAMP server architecture   

• Intermediate understanding of HTML, XML, CSS & Javascript  

• Preferable basic understanding of the CodeIgniter web framework 

 • Preferable understanding of the Laravel web framework 
  

 Required Profile

 • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent. MS highly desirable  

• Min. 8-10 years work experience in software development or similar field  

• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure  

• Being up-to-date with latest technologies and developments 

 • Excellent multitasking capabilities  

• Strong communication skills and good command of the English language  

• Willing to work long hours and on weekends if required 

• Able to deal and negotiate with external vendors and consultants
