Job details
• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your specialty.
• Managing and training any demi-chef parties or commis working with you.
• Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance as per labor law and Company policy, follow assigned Rota consistently.
• Maintain proper self- presentation and hygiene standard, maintain clean and tidy uniform.
• Flexible and have the needed People and communication skills.
• Follow food safety and security standards without fail at all times.
• Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
• Coordinates daily tasks with the Sous Chef & Head Chef.
• Able to estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
• Full knowledge of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.
• Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctions.
• Reports back to Line Manager with all required data.
• Submits all required reports and paper works to Line Manager.
