You will be responsible for
CaptainPanel is seeking a Web Integration Specialist to join our growing team. This position would be responsible for integrating CaptainPanel online booking system product with client websites and helping to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for end users. The Web Integration Specialist will work closely with members across various teams and job functions to help bridge the gap of streamlining our client onboarding and integration process. Candidates will need to have a superior ability to identify, resolve, and diligently record any issues that arise pertaining to daily integration and client issues. This role requires a combination of technical and interpersonal skills with a unique opportunity to have multiple paths for growth within the organization.
The Responsibilities
• Integration of CaptainPanel products with new and existing client websites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve challenges and issues with new and existing client website integrations.
• Interfacing with clients, webmasters, and host support
• Provide feedback to the team about common obstacles and difficulties in the integration process.
• Assist in maintenance and continued development of integration solutions.
• QA testing on client websites across various browsers and devices
• Create and maintain additional documentation regarding integration steps and best practices with regard to common hosting platforms and/or web frameworks.
The Requirements
• 1-3 years of previous web development experience
• Solid knowledge of core web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience creating and editing websites.
• Experience working with popular CMS solutions ( Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, etc…)
• Experience working with popular website building services( SquareSpace, Weebly, Wix, etc…)
• Comfortable with browser developer tools for debugging
• Experience integrating third party code libraries / SDKs with existing websites.
• Experience with Git (or other code version control systems), front end build tools(Gulp/Grunt), or popular JS application frameworks (Ember, Angular, Backbone, etc…) a plus.
• Self-starter who can take an idea and run with it given minimal guidance and supervision.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced team environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Must possess outstanding follow-up and follow-through capabilities
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft office, Gmail, Salesforce.
• Can provide previous examples of work.
