Wave Evolution (M) Sdn Bhd exists to help companies implementing a successful marketing campaign through email marketing, database solution, SMS marketing, search engine & social media.

We are looking for a Software Technical Support who can communicate in English effectively, as well as Chinese to support client from Malaysia, Singapore & Hong Kong. Interested candidates must be willing to work in Petaling Jaya (head office).

Responsibilities:

• Configuration and installation of application on server 
  
• Software & server trouble shooting 
  
• Helpdesk support to resolve issues to the customer's complete satisfaction 
  
• Training to customer on using email & SMS marketing software 
  
• To be responsible for the day to day IT functions in the company 
  

Requirements:

• Possess a Red Hat Certified System Administrator Certificate or Diploma or Advanced Diploma or Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent 
  
• Required skills:  
  
• - Familiarity with Linux CentOS basic command (working with directories, files, file contents, filters, basic unix tools, regular expressions, add users, user management, groups, files permission, firewall, etc.) 
  
• - Preferably with knowledge on email delivery (DKIM, SPF, Postfix / Exim, DMARC, IP rotation, rDNS, Postfix Instances). 
  
• - Hosting (IPs, OS, Server Spec), Control Panel (such as DirectAdmin) and Domain (DNS record, Domain migration). 
  
• - MySQL basic command and ;
  
• - Basic understanding of PHP script & HTML coding (creating table, font type, font size, border, padding, ) 
  
• Preferably with experience in web-based application support and trouble ;
  
• Ability to work well in a team environment with good communication skills, self-motivated to learn & improve yourself and organization 
  
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills 
  
• Required languages: English, Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese) and Bahasa Malaysia
