Kenect Drivers are currently recruiting for experienced 3.5 Tonne van drivers for regular, part time or weekend only driving work to suit your preference in the Derby area.
These positions are on a part time, ad-hoc basis only. Usually 2-3 shifts per week. No set days.
As an 3.5 Tonne driver, the work will involve local and national delivery or collection work for clients based within various sectors such as:
- Automotive
- Pallet Networks
- General Haulage
- Supermarket Stores & RDC's
- Distribution & Parcel Networks
- Containers
- Manufacturing & Engineering
Whilst working within the above clients you will be carrying out various duties such as:
- Multi-drop deliveries
- Some use of tail lifts
- Strapping and securing of loads
- Caged and palletised goods
- Possible light handball involved
Pay Rates:
Pay rates for the 3.5 Tonne driving work we offer vary depending on the client you work for. Below are the general pay rates for PAYE workers inclusive of holiday pay and for Limited Company drivers
- 3.5 Tonne (Midweek) AM starts = £8.41 - £9.41 p/h
- 3.5 Tonne (Midweek) PM starts = £9.41 - £10.41 p/h
- 3.5 Tonne (Saturdays) = £12.00 - £13.50 p/h
- 3.5 Tonne (Sundays and Bank Holidays) = £13.50 - £15.00 p/h
All of our clients will guarantee a minimum of 8 hours per shift.
