• Greet guests and patrons personally as they enter into the establishment.

• Maintain proper self- presentation and hygiene standard, maintain clean and tidy uniform.

• Checks cleanliness from previous shift and notifies restaurant manager of any problems.
• Obtains and maintains knowledge of all menu items.
• Present menus, make recommendations and take orders.
• Display a welcoming smile and show attentiveness to our customers as they enter the restaurant.
• Be helpful and knowledgeable about our beer and food.
• Positive, energetic and mindful of the customers' needs in our restaurant.
• Be accommodating, even if a guest is difficult.
• If a guest is unsure as to where they want to go in the restaurant, help clarify what the options are.
How many people? Do they have a reservation? Etc
.
• Locate the table (make sure it is clean and bussed) where the guest will be sat, keeping in mind that no server gets overwhelmed with tables, then collect the appropriate amount of menus and escort the guests to their table.
• Once they are sat, announce to the guests that their server will be right with them, immediately tell the server the number of guest and the table number at which they were sat.
• If there is a problem finding a server to tend to the table right away, must notify the Floor Manager so that no guest is waiting too long.
• Once you are ready to leave them in good hands, wish the customer(s) a good day/night and to enjoy their meal.
• Assist server, food- runner when needed.
Requirements:
• Excellent in full service restaurant is desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standards accepted practices.
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
• 1-year experience in the same role.
