Duties:

    Diabetes and endocrine clinics: new patients & follow up

    General Medical Clinic: follow up

    At least one consultant ward round per week

    SpR led ward rounds

    The successful candidate will share the responsibility for ongoing care of inpatients under the care of the consultants

    Teaching & supervision of Junior staff when needed

Person Specification:

    MBBS or equivalent

    MD / DNB in Diabetes / Endocrinology

    MRCP / Part MRCP or PLAB 1&2

    Minimum 3 years full time post graduate experience

    Minimum of 18 months of continuous Diabetes & Endocrinology experience

    GMC registration (or eligible to secure GMC registration)

    Efficiency in Teamwork and equally good communication skills
