Duties and responsibilities:

    To ensure the provision of a first class clinical service

    To undertake all work in accordance with trust procedures and operating policies

    To conduct clinical practice in accordance with contractual requirements and within the parameters of the Division's and Trusts service plans

    To maintain the confidence of business plans and development strategies formulated for the specialty, the Medical Division or the Trust.

    Teaching, supervision and development of Junior doctors in the Department, medical students and non-medical staff as appropriate

    To ensure at all times that you comply with the General Medical Council's published guide "Good Medical Practice".

    Participating in continuing professional development and in the Trust's appraisal and assessment processes, which include a formal annual appraisal.

    Contribute to audits and ongoing research activity

Person Specification:

    MBBS / MBChB or equivalent

    FRCR or equivalent

    Minimum 7 years full time post graduate experience

    Minimum of 2 years of continuous experience in Radiology

    Broad based experience in General Radiology with Sub specialty interests

    Consultant level experience

    Full GMC registration (or eligible to secure Full GMC registration)

    Good Leadership and Management skills

    Efficiency in Teamwork and superior communication skills
