Job Description:

  • Expert understanding of digital media monetization trends and practices.
  • Passionate in Social Media that includes personal and professional immersion in current trends, tools and techniques and strong knowledge of emerging social media channels (currently actively involved).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills. Ability to interact diplomatically with Content Partners in various digital media platforms.
  • A seasoned business developer with experience working in strategy roles and the ability to identify prospects, generate a robust pipeline, land quality meetings and negotiate deal terms.
  • A news junkie who has keen awareness of entertainment news, pop culture and social media trends.
  • Familiarity with top entertainment and sites/apps and associated social media.
  • Good knowledge of variations across Arab culture.
  • Team player able to collaborate across divisions in deal development, oversee multiple projects and proposals at once, work with key stakeholders, manage customer relationships and respond to client inquiries.


Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and quantify new digital business portfolio using major digital media platforms available in the market.
  2. Develop and grow relationship with Company’s Content Partners to increase revenue shares and maximize content distribution.
  3. Lead all partnership initiatives and discussions with regards to sponsored and branded contents and affiliation programs.
  4. Expand key partnership with Company’s and Content Providers to include distribution deals with regards to sponsored and branded contents, etc.
  5. Create new partnership opportunities with potential revenue growth and audience development with Company’s content providers, and other product stream.
  6. Create, implement and propose partnership pipelines with Content Partners across all stream.
  7. Work closely with Company’s Senior Management, Sales and Marketing Department and Creative Department create structure and negotiate optimal deals with Content Partners.
  8. Work in parallel with VP Sales and Marketing to successfully achieve business strategy with key focus on social media monetization.
  9. Provide in-depth strategic analysis of potential deals and partnerships with different Content Partners.
  10. Conduct regular business analysis in key areas of emerging business growth potentials.
  11. Streamline social media management and reporting and compare performance across different platforms.
  12. Negotiate and execute deals, present campaign reports, explore new ways for content monetization, and recommend the best ways for exposure and online placements.
