# Group, Conference & Events Executive - Waldorf Astoria Doha Lusail Waldorf Astoria Doha Lusail Location: Doha, Qatar Category: Hotel Full-time Posted: May 10th, 2025 Job Description A Groups and Events Executive is responsible for receiving groups and events in the hotel, serving as an intermediary between the customer and the commercial and operational departments. You will be the main contact for clients upon their arrival, working to achieve the hotel's goals. Responsibilities include: Receiving groups and events and maintaining communication with the hotel team Drafting contracts for groups and events Inserting Rooming Lists into the system, updating payment instructions, and recording relevant information Negotiating budgets with clients Developing event work orders with all necessary details Conducting informational groups with all relevant information (number of attendees, categories, prices, payment methods, contacts, notes, etc.) Preparing monthly reports and updating group closing information Collaborating with Account Managers, Sales Coordinators, Reservations, Front Desk, Hilton Meetings, and Kitchen Interacting directly with guests or clients during events Participating in special activities like cocktail receptions or welcome tours Ensuring client requests are handled efficiently and promptly The ideal candidate will have: A degree or MBA in Management, Hospitality, or Marketing Experience in sales, groups, and events, preferably in hospitality Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and planning abilities Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and Word A proactive approach to meeting deadlines and objectives Hilton is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, offering benefits like flexible work arrangements, career development, and staff discounts.
