Role Overview:

You will be responsible for developing web-based applications using PHP and MySQL, WAMP/LAMP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, Moodle, Code Igniter, Virtue Mart technologies etc. Your experience in working with various open source platforms such as Moodle, Wordpress, Drupal and Joomla are your greatest assets. Unique problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently are extremely important for this role. Knowledge of any Learning Management System and SCORM will be added advantage.

Required Role Attributes:

• Understand, interpret and articulate business requirements.

• Develop Solution Blueprint based on Business Requirements and proposed solutions.

• Design and document Functional Specifications based on Business Requirements.

• Articulate Business Requirements and Functional Specifications to rest of the team and stakeholders.

• Develop programs and frameworks based on Industry standards.

Primary Skills: PHP, MySQL, WAMP/ LAMP, HTML , Javascript, Jquery, CSS technologies

Required Skills:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in developing web applications using PHP and MySQL

• Must have experience in developing/customizing applications using at least one of the open source development frameworks like Moodle, Zend, Joomla, Magneto, CodeIgniter, CakePHP etc.

• Must have good exposure of API's integration and Development

• Must be exposed to Webservices

• Must have good exposure to web server and application servers.

• Must be having a good experience with MySql, planning database

• Must have good knowledge of coding standards, best programming practices and avoid performance issues of applications

• Having sound knowledge and experience in mobile app (android) development is an added advantage.
