We are looking for ambitious and driven General Accountants to join our growing team. The role would suit enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals with experience in preparation of financial statement, bank reconciliation, general ledger, profit and loss, trial balance, and balance sheet reconciliation.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Record financial information into an accounting software 
  
• Perform basic/end-to-end accounting functions 
  
• Preparation and analysis of financial statements including the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement 
  
• Consolidation of various financial information and projections related to expenses, headcount, and personnel cost assumptions 
  
• Provide high level accounting and financial management services, review and processing of transactions and reconciliations in Accordance with Accounting Standards 
  
• Proactively contribute to review and creation of Accounting relating policies and procedures 
  
• Prepare management reports accurately and timely 
  
• Any task/duty as directed by client/management
  

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess at a Bachelor's / College Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Banking or equivalent 
  
• Certified Public Accountant preferred 
  
• Must have at least 2 to 3 years General Accounting experience and proven professional experience in a medium to large corporate environment preferably for an Australian client 
  
• Previous experience working for an Auditing Firm 
  
• Strong knowledge in the key aspects of accounting specifically in accounts payable and receivable with basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) 
  
• Knowledgeable in AU Payroll and Australian accounting process 
  
• Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret and comprehend financial and non-financial data 
  
• Ability to learn new software application and experience using any of the following desired: 
  

- SAP/Oracle

- MYOB / JD Edwards or Netsuite

- Quickbooks

- Navision

- Xero

- Caseware / Caseview

- Profile Tax

• Proficient in using MS Office with an advance understanding of MS Excel including formulas/functions, Pivot Table, VLook Up, and VB/Macro 
  
• Detail-oriented, highly analytical, responsible and committed to meeting deadlines 
  
• Must be trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality at all times 
  
• Must have a high sense of professionalism, responsibility, and accountability 
  
• With strong verbal/written communication skills and excellent comprehension skills 
  
• Must be willing to work in Makati / BGC in an early morning shift (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
