Job Responsibilities:

Responsible all incoming and outgoing shipment for FSA-TECH.

Planning and scheduling of delivery on all FSA-TECH client on a timely manner.

Identifying & delivering operational cost reduction and cost avoidance initiatives.

Making sure that project deadlines are met.

Responsible for a team of staff that include drivers and warehouse operatives.

Completing and filing compliance documentation for import, export and supply chain security, like PEZA, CUSTOM and other relevant document needed.

Ensuring that all set targets are achieved.

Negotiating the services of 3rd party carriers, couriers and haulage companies.

Managing supplier delivery performance and maintain supplier contracts.

Negotiating pricing with local carriers.

Visiting company sites around the country.

In charge of vehicles and also a team of transport planners.

Cost management and reporting.

Development of the logistics supply base.

Supporting other departments within the company.

Managing import and export via external distribution teams.

Managing all supply chain activities.

Taking into account capacity and planning ahead accordingly.

Developing robust processes & policies.

Implementing new processes and procedures beneficiary to FSA-TECH.

Handle, monitor and report status of finished goods delivery to client site from final product shipment until final destination at client receiving end.

Rendered "ON CALL", 24/7 for urgent inbound/outboard particularly those projects with urgency and high priority without over-time pay, but corresponding allowance should exceeded on a normal working hours.

Updates the status of pending delivery and incoming deliveries.

Execution and monitoring of all regular purchasing duties.

Ensures that daily monitoring of purchases and follow-up the necessary requirement with supplier respective supplier.

Ensures that the price is the lowest bid among others (3 to 4 different suppliers is required on every single item purchased).

Implement all possibility of cost saving measure to all the purchases beneficiary to FSA-TECHNOLOGY

Prepares the request for quotation, canvass sheet, implement purchase request form and generate purchase and job order.

Ensure competent quality execution of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works.

Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.

Prepare reports and summarize data including sales report and book value.

Schedule supplier visits and conduct competitor survey.

Coordinate with user departments and suppliers in the purchasing scope of work for projects assigned.

Assist in managing and following up overseas orders.

Handling and monitoring of claims to factories and vendors for defectives, shortage, missing parts.

Support relevant departments with quotations for the purpose of tenders.

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsible for the preparation and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items between suppliers to ensure that all items are delivered to site/store on time.

Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers.

Negotiate for best purchasing package (in terms of quality, price, term, delivery and service) with suppliers and sub-contractors assigned.

Purchase and issue order in accordance to correct specification.

Plan and manage inventory levels of materials or products.

Source for new parts, suppliers or sub-contractors when the need arises.

Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items between suppliers (local and overseas).
