HR SUPERVISOR
The HR Supervisor will take the lead in hiring, training, and developing a team of web quality analysts. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to building the core operations of a new, fast-paced tech communication services start-up. We're looking for someone with strong experience in larger companies, and someone who is excited by the idea of building a team from scratch and having influence in shaping the direction of a smaller organization. You will support the implementation of company strategy and objectives as they relate to hiring, developing and retaining staff.
The immediate goals of our HR Supervisor will be to create a recruitment plan, work with current staff to develop a training plan and materials for new recruits, and manage the performance and morale of the team. The HR Supervisor should promote corporate values while keeping the fun aspect of a startup environment in tact, enforcing and rewarding good behavior.
Significant roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Identify and manage recruitment channels
• Build and lead a recruitment process that results in hiring strong talent
• Assess training needs in order to develop, apply, and monitor training programs
• Implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
• Bridge client and contractor relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
• Nurture a positive working environment
• Report to management and provide decision support
• Ensure legal compliance
Required Experience and Skills:
• At least 2 years of proven and successful work experience as an HR manager in an IT or BPO setting
• BS/MS degree in Human Resources or related field
• People oriented and results driven
• Working knowledge of internet and web-related trends
• Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
• In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
• Experience with HR metrics preferred
