Supervisor

**The Role**: The role of the Supervisor is to oversee junior team members in their service delivery, ensuring guest satisfaction is always the main focus, whilst building good customer relations and ensuring company standards are delivered. Job Dutie - Assisting Restaurant Manager - Overseeing all front and back of the house restaurant operations. - Ensuring guests’ satisfaction through promoting excellent services. - Coordinates any necessary information to the concerned head office department. - Provides guests accurate information of the restaurant menu, specialties, and current promotions. - Upsells variety of products to the guests to maximize sales. - Ensures that all orders are prepared and served according to established standards and presentation. - Ensures that different sections of the restaurant are well-stocked and all necessary equipment and accessories are well-maintained. - Handles guests’ concerns professionally. - Ensures that orders are prepared in a timely manner, orders are checked for accuracy, and you will serve as a liaison between the line cooks, servers and our guests. - Responding to guests’ complaints tactfully and professionally. - Maintaining quality control for all food served. - Analyzing staff evaluations and feedbacks to improve the guests’ experience. - Overseeing health code compliance and sanitation standards. - Looking for ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs. - Generating daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports. - Training new and existing employees and managers. - Attending meetings. - Ensuring that all items are labeled accordingly. - Spotting items that are about to expire or go out of stock. - Motivating the staff to work harder. - Supervising the task of the employees. - Attending and reminding the employees to attend basic food safety and work safety training programs. - Welcomes customers when they arrive at a restaurant - Introduces customers to the menu and announces daily or seasonal menu specials - Answers questions about menu items, ingredients, and pricing - Ensures that customers are satisfied with their meals and processes orders for additional courses if necessary - Prepares cheques and delivers them to customers - Processes cash and credit card payments and returns change to customers if necessary - Sets tables with dishes, glasses, and flatware and refills condiments - Maintains familiarity with menu items, specials, and restaurant information - Meets with managers and wait staff daily or regularly in order to learn about menu changes and specials as well as discuss upcoming reservations and customers with special needs - Supervise the front of office staff - Handling customers concerns - Making sure of the change of daily products, and their expiry **Qualifications & Requirements**: You will have/be: - 3 years' proven experience in leading a team of junior staff - A relevant hospitality qualification or relevant experience - An effective communicator who has a passion for hospitality - Strong, proven problem solving skills. **Salary**: QAR5,000.00 - QAR6,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate: - Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Supervisor: 4 years (preferred)
