Doha, Qatar **Responsibilities** - Audit Safety Management System and Construction Practice Safety, which are implemented across all programmes/ projects/ departments in alignment to the safety standards. - Suggest improvements to the policies, processes, and procedures for all Project Safety Control activities across the business based on ISO 45001. - Provide support to the business in all matters pertaining to safety in a project or an internal programmes/ projects/ department and provide training for junior engineers. - Prepare regular monitoring reports that the Safety Management System is being implemented on projects and ensure its alignment to the safety standards. - Study and analyse all relevant legislation, regulations, and by-laws to ensure the PWA are fully compliant. - Develop a risk mitigation plan and establish tools to deal with the risks (for Project Safety). - Design the standards for the Safety of the finished product to allow the Inspectors/Engineers to perform their project site inspections. - Develop the standards and criteria for measuring the performance of the Contractors and/or Consultants working on a project. **Qualification** F- BSc in Civil Eng. or BSc in Engineering / Science or equivalent - (NEBOSH Dip., Level 6) - ISO45001 Lead Auditor - NEBOSH (IGC), IOSH, OSHA **Experience** - Should have minimum 10 years demonstrable postgraduate experience - Minimum 7 years directly related experience - Preferably, have minimum 03 years’ experience in the gulf region. **Must Have** Skills and Competencies: 1) Planning of Safety Audits. 2) Site Audits and Inspections for Safety. 3) Management of Non-Conformities. 4) Laws & Regulations. 5) Safety Specifications during construction. 6) Project Management. 7) Safety Management. 8) Risk Management. 9) QSD policies, procedures & guidelines. 10) Data Management and gathering. 11) ISO Compliance. 12) Occupational Health and Safety Management. 13) Continuous improvement. 14) Develop people. 15) Engage People. 16) Innovative Thinking. 17) Analytical Ability.
