Systems Engineer (Database)

**About the Role**: You would enhance, write procedures,develop queries for report generation, consume data files from upstream, load to database, maintain production systems and support third party interface implementations/integrations. You will interact with various stakeholders and work with cross technical teams across the design, coding, testing, production deployment and third-party interface implementations processes. You will work on resolving production issues, where required analyze root cause of problems analysis and provide resolution in a timely manner. **Roles & Responsibilities**: - Liaise with other technical teams to implement new interfaces and establish best practices. - Ability to support long term goals along with immediate performance concerns. - Pro-actively and regularly make recommendations for system improvements. - Develop database monitoring scripts using sys/dba tables. - Maintain and manage Release Scripts. - Responsible for database upgrades. - Design and implement outbound interfaces for other systems. - Write and deploy SQL patches. **Be part of an extraordinary story** Your skills. You should have excellent verbal and written communications skills. You should possess strong analytical, interpersonal skills and be a proven team player. You should have experience working on Agile development projects. **Skills**: - 5 years of experience in writing SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Views and Triggers (Oracle 11g/12c) - Must have in depth experience in advanced PLSQL programming. - Must have experience in database performance analysis, query optimization, performance tuning and implementing indexing strategies. - Experience in providing End User Support. - Must have experience in migrating data from other databases and legacy systems. - Must have experience in any ETL Tool. - Must have experience in any of the Business intelligence /Report Tools. **About Qatar Airways Group** Our story started with four aircraft.
