Operations Manager is expected to manage assigned job area/task with full responsibility. Reporting to Country Operations Manager, the OM is accountable for the overall safe, secure, efficient and cost-effective management of their team. You will be expected to effectively lead a team to deliver superior results across all areas of their responsibility. You will use your management skills to develop a culture of trust and to cultivate the best by inspiring, challenging and promoting our workforce. Leading by example, you will promote and ensure the Health & Safety of all our team members. You will ensure all quantitative and qualitative measures are met including those related to accountability, reliability, labour utilization, and resource optimization. You will manage a team of supervisors, team leaders and specialists (cleaners or equipment operators depending on the area of assigned task). **Key Responsibilities** - Promote an operating culture to create exceptional value to the customers through quality and efficient service delivery - Execute the required strategic initiatives as required - Team Development: Define required skills and capabilities for the team. Ensure timely execution of all required training - Everyday coaching to engage the team and develop ownership for sustainable targets achievements - Promote and enhance a positive team management relationship including efforts to continuously improve teamwork and establish high levels of employee involvement - Understand and achieve all required targets for safety, customer satisfaction, and financial and operating performance - Conduct regular briefings - Make sure all required materials and tools are available on your site. Create procurement requisitions if required - Customer: Ensure the clients’ value proposition is clearly understood by the onsite team and that the level of customer satisfaction is validated in the customer’s KPI’s - Continuous Improvement: Promote continuous learning culture and provide on-job training as required - Perform specific assignments as directed by Country Operations Manager **Requirements**: - Excellent English is a must - Driving license - Must have experience in facility management, or previous managerial housekeeping position in a hotel, or managerial position in aviation/ground handling industry. - High School Diploma required. Post-secondary education is preferred. - Ability to manage a group of multinational team members. - High level of responsibility and accountability for tasks. **Job Types**: Full-time, Contract **Salary**: QAR10,000.00 - QAR14,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate: - Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Operations Manager: 3 years (required)
