Accountant

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**: 1- Assist in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting, and/or payroll. 2- Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role like. AR, AP, GL, forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management etc. 3- Responsible for timely monthly Financial/Management Statements, Payments, Cash-flow Management Reports, Financial Monthly Reports, Adhoc Reports for submission to the Management. 4- Analyze financial information & recommend for improvements. 5- Review & approve Payment Vouchers, Journal Entries & Bank Reconciliations. 6- Review of accounting and administrative controls. Handling System related issues. 7- Establishes system controls for new financial systems and develops procedures to improve existing systems. 8- Carrie out overall Cost control duties 9- Liaising with external auditors for annual audit. 10- Review contracts and recommend to the management for better options. 11- Manage and oversee the entire accounting team Work 12- Consultatively with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives. 13- Budget forecasting **Required skills & Qualities**: - University Bachelor Degree. - CIMA/CMA/ACCA/CA required. - Minimum 5 years working experience in accounting required - Knowledge of accepted accounting rules, practices, tax laws, and reporting requirements - Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization - Ability to adapt to and learn new software - Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently - High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts - Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines - Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills - Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures - Attention to detail in all areas of work **Education**: - Bachelor's (preferred) **Experience**: - accountant: 5 years (preferred) License/Certification: - QID (preferred)
