Overview / Responsibilities: Wood is currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to support our growing operations in Qatar. - Quality engineer is supporting the Senior Quality Engineer and Quality Lead for the implementation of the Quality Program and responsible for the independent surveillance of all quality control and inspection activities in the project during all stages with procedure, ITP and requirements. - Quality Engineer shall support execution of planned audit of the project for compliance with procedures and requirements, as well as the documentation of compliance and corrective actions. - The Quality Engineer works closely with Senior Quality Engineer and Quality Lead and advises him of the status of quality‐related activities. - The Quality Engineer shall be supporting for the maintenance and updating Project Quality Plan, Inspection Test Plan Lessons Learned and all planned project quality documents. - Responsible for Quality control compliance and contributing on system improvement activities - Ensure all quality control activities to achieve Goal Zero No Defect Objective. - Participate in HSE and Quality activities as defined in the CONTRACT HSE and Quality Plan. - Responsible for Contract and Project quality plan implementation - Responsible for the overall implementation of MRF process for projects, where applicable. - Supporting implementation, and maintenance of the quality management system. - Responsible for Development of project specific Inspection and Test Plans for the new projects. - Support Senior Quality Engineer and Quality Lead for Interface coordination with Engineering and Procurement team / contractor to ensure specific quality requirements are incorporated in all relevant documents, approved, and transferred to implementation contractor. - Accountable for supervising, managing and advising the Quality Inspectors to ensure that inspection of products and processes for ensuring compliance with the relevant requirements of the quality management system and Inspection Test Paln - Perform Failure Analyse and responsible for implementation of corrective and preventive actions and to respond to company. - Support implementation of DCAF for recognised disciplines and support TA assignment of CONTRACTOR discipline staff - Responsible for departmental and project specific risk management through implementation of mitigation plans. - Accountable for Project KPI, leading and lagging indicator identification, relevant to the portfolio as well as individual projects. - Accountable for quality control of incoming material - Responsible to perform discipline inspections for critical activities and advise on corrections. - Quality Engineer shall be supporting update all product NCR and Observation in company SQI Review Supplier/Subcontractor Fabrication/Certification Dossiers such as MRB (Manufacturer’s Record Book), MDR (Manufacturing Data Report). - Quality Engineer shall be responsible for coordination for vendor document deliverable requirements and vendor document schedule compliance. - Responsible to ensure that all necessary quality records are identified, retained and retrieved in accordance with company, and regulatory requirements Skills / Qualifications: - Degree qualified - Experience in brownfield Oil & Gas related project delivery Company Overview: Diversity Statement: We are an equal opportunity employer that recognises the value of a diverse workforce.
