**Main Duties will depend on the type of the client setting and requirements, as listed below.** Key responsibilities and accountabilities: **As Nursery/School Nurse** Provide primary healthcare to students in case of injury or acute illness. Collaborate with parents/caregivers on maintaining health plans for students with chronic illnesses and disabilities. Educate students and staff on healthy habits, such as proper nutrition and hygiene (proper nail and hair care, daily hygiene). Detect health problems in early stages through regular screenings. Keep track of students’ vaccination records. Update nursery/school records of students’ medical history. Ensure the school environment is safe for children and school staff (e.g., preventing communicable diseases). Ensure compliance with national health legislation and school/nursery policies and regulations. Recommend referrals for pediatricians or family doctors if necessary. Assist the physician during monthly visits by recording height & weight and keep all visit records. Administer First Aid when necessary to children and staff of the nursery. Report directly to the Nursery manager and keep the incident log book updated of any incident or accident recorded on duty. Reports equipment failures, safety and security issues, and/or reduction of supply inventory to Nursery Supervisor or designee. Treats colleagues, patients, and visitors with dignity and respect at all times and promotes and maintains effective communication and teamwork. **As an Institutional Nurse (Private Clinic, Hospitals, Colleges, Organizations etc.)** Recommend referrals for pediatricians or family doctors if necessary. Provide required daily care to assigned clients & document the process and vital signs. Proactively manage and monitor any early symptoms leading to deterioration of health. Establish an initial health status, including patient's health history and data, previous care plans and create an individualized plan of care, aligned with specialist recommendations. Monitor patient's health, update care plans accordingly. Act as a connection point and facilitates clear and concise communication across all Health sectors. Liaises and works within an interprofessional practice model to ensure high quality, holistic, and safe family centered care. Align the nursing services with the services of other health care disciplines. Administer all prescribed medications, assist with pain management during procedures such as clean and dress wounds when required and ordered. Educate patients and their families on proper home care, provide recommendations for life quality and home safety improvements. Provide encouragement and support to the patient and patient's family members during their visits. Reports equipment failures, safety and security issues, and/or reduction of supply inventory to nurse supervisor or designee. Treats colleagues, patients, and visitors with dignity and respect at all times and promotes and maintains effective communication and teamwork. **As Home Care Nurse** Provide required daily care to assigned patients, document the process and vital signs. Proactively manage and monitor any early symptoms leading to potential hospital visits. Assess an initial health status, including patient’s health history and data, previous care plans and create an individualized plan of home care, aligned with specialist recommendations. Monitor patient’s health, update care plans accordingly. Act as a connection point and facilitates clear and concise communication between physicians, social workers, health advisors and families of patients under care. Coordinates nursing services with the services of other health care disciplines. Administer medications, assist with pain management, supervise supplement and health aides use. Clean and dress wounds, prevent and manage pressure sore. Instruct patients and their families on proper home care, provide recommendations for life quality and home safety improvements. Provide encouragement and support to the patient and patient’s family members. Reports equipment failures, safety and security issues, and/or reduction of supply inventory to nurse manager if they were provided by the company or to home owners if they were personal medical equipment. Treats, patients, families and their visitors with dignity and respect at all times and promotes and maintains effective communication and teamwork. **Professional Development**: Attend related events, conferences, courses and training to maintain and expand the knowledge in related fields (medical and business development) and ensure best practices are implemented in the company. **Qualifications**: Diploma/Bachelor degree in Nursing Valid QHCP License Or having completed a positive Data Flow report & passed the Prometric test **Essential skills**: Close attention to detail.
