**Position Summary**: **Minimum Qualification**: Applicants must have an earned doctorate in the applicable field. Program assessment skills (ABET or similar) are desired. Proven records of publications and accomplishment of research funding are required. The ability to teach graduate and undergraduate courses is a must. Industrial and professional experience is a plus. **Preferred Qualification**: The applicants should have a strong background in the area of biochemical engineering. In addition to the other areas of the chemical engineering curriculum. **Expected Skills/Rank/Experience**: Assistant/Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering. Industrial experience or industrial research funding is recommended. Fluency in English as a communication/teaching/research language is a must. **Duties and Responsibilities**: - 1. Teaching undergraduate and graduate chemical engineering, general engineering, and environmental engineering courses. - 2. Developing research in the area of processes related to Biochemical engineering-related processes mentioned above. - 3. Developing other research activities (besides his/her research related to Biochemical Engineering) to complement the existing research activities in the Department. - 4. Supervising undergraduate and graduate student projects/theses. - 5. Active involvement with stakeholders and industry. - 6. Establishing collaborative research and obtaining competitive research funding. Qualifications 1. B.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or Biochemical Engineering. 2. Research and teaching interests that show experience in areas of relevance to the Department’s clusters (research groups). 3. Track record of research funding and the capacity to establish ties to industry or government agencies.
