Sales Executive
Description
Coordinates office activities to ensure work updates are consistently maintained and all correspondence promptly handled on the same day it is received. - Identifies new contracts and develop sales leads. - Responds to sales opportunities in order to maximize revenue. - Ensures inquiries are converted into confirmed business opportunities to up-sell are implemented. - Produce quotations and written confirmation to all clients. - Calls on pre-determined number of companies per day according to agreed action plans. - Checks customer satisfaction and resolves any outstanding issues to ensure future business. - Establishes and maintains flies on major active accounts within respective market areas. - Promotes and produces sales leads when applicable. - Provides feedback to Operations and General Manager on changing marketing conditions, including trends in competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone and direct mail in the market area. - Arranges site inspections for the hotel. - Ensures optimum yield from events through planned and focused sales. - Manages timely execution of events and related follow-up. - Produces sales related financial report. - Maintains professional business confidentiality. - Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance to established hotel policies to achieve overall objectives of the position. - Takes charge of special requests and any problems that may arise within the department on a day-to-day basis. - Coordinates reservation requirements and liaise with respective departments. - Establishes and maintains good relations with corporate accounts, travel agencies, airline and other booking sources. - Constantly reviews room availability in relations to total room sold, opening and closing categories with a view to maximizing occupancy and revenues. - Aggressively achieves productivity and cost efficiency. - Have and maintain effective communication with other Department Heads or Line Managers. - Adheres to set procedures for attendance and timekeeping. - Carries out other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Operations and General Manager **Salary**: From QAR2,500.00 per month Application Question(s): - Are you currently in Qatar? **Experience**: - Sales in Hospitality Industry: 3 years (required)
