Network Engineer

**Key Responsibilities**: - Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN) - Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices - Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability - Manage and maintain network security by implementing and managing appropriate measures - Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations - Collaborate with network architects on network optimization - Troubleshoot network issues and perform necessary repairs - Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution - Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and services **Requirements**: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role - In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF) - Hands-on experience with network hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper) - Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., Solar Winds, Wireshark) - Solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS, Junos, etc.) - Familiarity with security principles and general network management best practices - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Professional certification (e.g., CCNP, CCDP) is a plus Pay: From QAR4,000.00 per month
