Contracts Manager
Description
The Contracts Manager reports to the Contracts and Commercial Director and oversees tender review and contract preparation activities for projects. Responsibilities include analyzing contract terms, monitoring agreements, and ensuring the company meets its contractual obligations to clients post-project award.Job Responsibilities Contract Administration and Management: Manage the administration of subcontractors, participate in contractual meetings, prepare claims such as extensions of time, develop contract standards, and ensure compliance with company policies to minimize risks and claims against the company.Risk and Claims Management: Enhance the commercial team's awareness of contractual risks, improve claim management processes using templates, and ensure proper subcontractor administration. Close out subcontracts within two months of scope completion.Additional Responsibilities Contribute to improving contractual risk identification, claim robustness, and subcontractor performance management.Job Knowledge & Skills Thorough knowledge of contract and tender requirements, FIDIC contracts, Qatar construction standards, and company products and processes.Fluency in English, ERP, preferably SAP skills.Job Experience Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in supervisory roles and 2 years in GCC.Education Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field.FIDIC certification or membership in professional bodies like CIOB or RICS preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
