University Hospital or Teaching Hospital)Note : Not mandatory for the required years of experience to be the most recent experience provided that there is no break of practice.Specification A Body Imaging Radiologist specializes in interpreting advanced imaging of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis to diagnose diseases in internal organs and soft tissues.Their expertise is vital for identifying cancer, infections, vascular conditions, and trauma.Key Responsibilities CT, MRI, ultrasound, and occasionally X-rays or nuclear medicine scans.Organs & Systems Covered : Abdomen : Liver, kidneys, pancreas, bowel, spleen Pelvis : Bladder, uterus, ovaries, prostate, rectum Common Diagnoses : Tumors and malignancies Inflammatory / infectious diseases (e.g., colitis, appendicitis)Vascular issues (e.g., aneurysms, clots)Traumatic injuries Deliver detailed diagnostic reports to clinicians Participate in tumor boards and MDTs Optional Procedures Image-guided biopsies Aspiration of collections Core Skills Expert knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy High diagnostic precision Strong interdisciplinary communication Broad understanding of systemic disease patterns #J-18808-Ljbffr
