Health Safety Environment Officer

Designation: HSE Officer- Q Chem Approved Experience: 3-5 Years Location: MIC, Qatar Salary: TBDProject Duration: 12 Months Certificates: IOSH/ NEBOSH & Q-chem certified Freelance Visa people only required with valid QIDJob Purpose: To support the implementation and monitoring of client's HSE policies and procedures at the site level. Ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducts safety inspections, and promotes a safe working culture under client standards.Key Responsibilities: Assist in implementing site-specific HSE plans in line with client guidelines.Conduct daily site safety inspections and report unsafe acts or conditions.Support Tool Box Talks (TBT), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Permit to Work (PTW) processes.Monitor the use of PPE and ensure all personnel comply with safety practices.Participate in incident investigations and assist in preparing reports.Assist with emergency drills and ensure proper documentation and participation.Maintain records of inspections, trainings, incidents, and observations.Promote client’s "Zero Incident" safety culture and follow its Life Saving Rules.Coordinate with supervisors and workers to maintain safe work environments.Attend daily HSE meetings and provide reports to the HSE lead.Qualifications & Skills: Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Occupational Safety.NEBOSH IGCMinimum 1 year of experience in an industrial or oil & gas environment.Valid QIDKnowledge of Qatari labor law and industrial safety regulations.Basic knowledge of PTW, risk assessments, fire prevention, and first aid.Good communication and reporting skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
