Safety Engineer Officer

Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe acts/conditions and ensure timely corrective actions.Monitor and enforce compliance with company HSE policies, local regulations, and international standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001, API, etc.).Prepare and maintain HSE documentation such as risk assessments, JSAs, work permits, incident reports, and safety audits.Deliver induction and regular safety training to employees, contractors, and visitors.Participate in HSE meetings and toolbox talks; lead where necessary.Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; develop root cause analysis and recommend corrective measures.Ensure that emergency response plans are current, communicated, and tested regularly.Supervise critical operations such as hot work, confined space entry, lifting operations, and working at heights.Interface with client HSE representatives and regulatory authorities.Monitor environmental compliance, including waste management, emissions, and spill response.Preferred candidate profile Experience: 5 years of HSE experience in oil & gas industry (onshore/offshore).Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and practices.NEBOSH IGC 3 (required or equivalent)Skills: Excellent communication and reporting skills Strong observation and analytical abilities Team player with leadership qualities Proficient in MS Office and incident reporting tools Company Industry Recruitment Placement Firm Executive Search Department / Functional Area Keywords Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
