Join our global team to grow your expertise and develop innovative solutions that enable a prosperous and more sustainable society.We are looking for a Tendering engineer to join our Services_EUA team in Qatar.Purpose of the job: Preparation of tenders and provision of front-end sales support in respect of client enquiries to meet the company's overall business objectives. Take overall control of service tendering activities aligned with the company's growth strategies.Your main tasks and responsibilities: Receive and acknowledge enquiries from sales, operations, management, or customers.Review commercial terms & work scope, liaise with internal stakeholders to meet bid deadlines.Coordinate with sales to prepare technical and commercial proposals.Coordinate with operations for repair and overhaul timescales, parts, and repair requirements.Coordinate with vendors for third-party materials and subcontract quotations.Produce costing sheets for review with relevant teams.Prepare quotations for additional work during order execution.Ensure tenders meet company guidelines and have necessary approvals.Complete Order Entry documentation per procedures and KPIs.Apply Sulzer tools, policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.Attend clarification meetings and pre-tender site visits when required.Manage handover documentation upon order receipt.Support initiatives for safety, environmental protection, and continuous improvement.Contribute to weekly/monthly performance reports.Follow up on tenders.To succeed in this role, you will need: Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering.Experience in Pump/Rotating Equipment industry.Understanding of pump machinery, assembly, and manufacturing processes.Experience with repair and overhaul tenders for rotating equipment.Contract negotiation skills.Computer skills and SAP familiarity.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and adapt to change.Visa and work permit support will be provided.Sulzer promotes diversity and is an equal opportunity employer.
