NMS/ Open Text ITOM Consultant (3 to 6 months' project)2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Direct message the job poster from Total-TECH Co We're looking for NMS/ Open Text ITOM Consultant for one of our mega clients.Project duration: 3-6 months only.PURPOSEWe are seeking a skilled NMS/ Open Text ITOM Consultant to join our team and help build scalable, efficient, and high-performance services.REQUIREMENTS• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / software engineering / Higher Diploma PRIMARY SKILLSTECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS• Expertise in NMS tools like Solar Winds, Nagios, Zabbix, Net Act, or Cisco Prime.• Familiarity with SNMP, Net Flow, and Syslog protocols.• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, and other networking concepts.• Excellent analytical skills for complex system troubleshooting.• Linux command line, file editing, package management, log export, process monitoring, shell scripting basics, log exploration, Linux permissions, and user management.• Basic knowledge of Python, Bash, or Perl for automation.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES• Configure, monitor, and maintain NMS platforms to ensure smooth network operations.• Integrate NMS tools with third-party software and network devices.• Set up alerts and dashboards for proactive monitoring of network health and performance.• Analyze and resolve network issues, system failures, or configuration mismatches.• Implement automation scripts for routine tasks like fault detection and report generation.• Maintain detailed documentation of NMS configurations, troubleshooting steps, and system changes.• Implement and maintain security best practices.PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS• Good communication, analytical ability, and interpersonal skills.• Organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.• Proficiency in IT.• Business acumen and interest.• Fluent in English.Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Consulting, Information Technology, and Sales Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Total-TECH Co by 2x.Get notified about new Consultant jobs in Doha, Qatar. #J-18808-Ljbffr
