The Test Analyst/Software Tester role involves in test planning and execution. He/She is responsible for functional and automated based testing that ensures quality, stability and reliability of the Software applications, produced and delivered on time.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish good relationships with business customers and team members.

• Participate in Test Planning

• Participate in test scenario planning, test automation and test execution which is carried out in an effective and expedient manner

• Responsible in Test Analysis and Design

• Create test scenarios and test cases for Test and UAT environment

• Create test scripts for automated testing for Test environment

• Responsible for Test Execution

• Responsible for Test Reporting

• Participate in continuous improvement of Software QA processes

• Participate in Scrum and Agile processes such as Daily Stand-up meetings, Sprint Planning, Refining meetings, Retrospective meeting and Sprint Demo

• Participate in daily/weekly meetings with the Software Development team to discuss progress and any issues to be resolved

  - .NET architecture (MVC, WebAPI, WPF)

  - Database design and architecting in SQL Server

  - JavaScript, JQuery, and

  - Umbraco / SiteCore or any similar Content Management System highly desirable

• Knowledge and experience in the following is an advantage:

  - JIRA

  - Confluence

  - Bamboo Automated Build System

  - Octopus Deployment System

  - Using cloud infra-structure: AWS

  - Google Apps - Hangouts etc

  - MS SQL Server/Client 2014/2015

• Good understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in SCRUM methodology, in particular software development processes, requirements engineering, configuration management, and software quality management

• A good understanding of the software development process including Agile Methodology
