Entry Requirements:

NQF 3/Grade 12 or equivalent and valid code B drivers license;

Knowledge of different raw materials;

Knowledge on how to operate screens/conveyors/bagging machine;

Valid competency certificate to operate lifting equipment and surface mobile equipment would be an advantage;

Skills:

KPA's:
Supervise plant employees; Track employee hours by use of a timesheet;

 Ensure plant efficiency and quality of material;

Comply with all requirements of Safety, Health, Quality and Environment;
Comply with the company Quality Policy, objectives and regulations;

Job Requirements:

Lead shit meetings & toolbox talks;

Compile shift reports & risk assessments;

Issue daily tasks to operators/labourers;

 
Plan daily tasks with manager;

Ensure correct quality output of material;

Ensure plant efficiency;

Supervise plant employees and operations;

Report defects and arrange repairs and services of equipment;

Provide plant specific training to employees;

Calculate employee hours worked and submit timesheets;
Supervise staff in terms of operational duties
