• Graduate of Medical Technologist, licensure exam is not a strict requirement.
• Graduate of Nursing with license and IV or Phlebotomy Training certificate.
• For Medical Technologist - none; for Registered Nurse, at least 6 months training/working experience as a phlebotomist
Job Summary
Responsible for phlebotomy functions: proper patient's identification, test requests verification, proper collection, correct labeling, handling and transporting of the specimen to the laboratory processing area; maintaining superior performance with strict compliance to the safety procedures and quality standards of the company.
