We are a small e-commerce company in Singapore (Hush Cosmetics Pte Ltd) that sells skincare and cosmetic products. We are looking to hire someone full-time, long-term whom we can groom to eventually manage some of the operational aspects of the business. This is NOT a sales role.

- SGD 1,200 - SGD 2,400 depending (refer to job scope for details)


Working Days & Hours

5 week days + weekend day

8 hours per day, 9am - 6pm with lunch break

Bukit Batok, Singapore

Leave (not applicable for 1st 3 months probation)

10 days annual leave (14 days annual leave from 3rd year onwards)

REQUIREMENTS


Our Requirements

Conversational + Basic Business English [Read, Speak & Type]

Conversational Mandarin [Read, Speak & Type]

Computer literate

Good attitude

Willing to learn

O Level or SPM equivalent and above

Singaporean/PR/Malaysian/NAS only (we will apply for work permit on behalf if required)


We Prefer

Fast learner

Basic knowledge of skincare and cosmetic products

Some familiarity with Microsoft Excel

Independent worker

JOB SCOPE


This is a role with a planned progression path. The initial job scope will be kept very simple. You will learn the most fundamental operational aspects of the business starting from unpacking of products, stocktaking and picking & packing of parcels. On the job training will be provided. The starting salary will be $1200.


Once you master the assigned tasks ( Level 1 tasks), become more efficient, and am able to cope with additional workload, we will train you on more advanced tasks. Once you have picked up the skills and are able to complete the additional tasks with minimal supervision/guidance, you will be given a salary increment, according to how well you perform, immediately from the next month and onwards.


As an example, if you already possess the skills and knowledge to complete Level 1 and Level 2 tasks and are confident of completing them at a high level of competence [such as < error rate], then you can look forward to a Level 3 salary from the 2nd month and onwards.


It is a requirement to master and complete the preceding Level tasks before you can proceed to the next Level. We believe a manager needs to understand most (if not all) aspects of the business before he/she can become competent. While part-time/full-time packers may be hired to do the fundamental packing jobs as the business grows, and you'll be tasked to manage them, you are also expected to help with those tasks should there be a need to.


We are looking for someone whom we can groom to help manage the business. Eventually, you are expected to take on Level 4 tasks and beyond. As such, the initial salary is deliberately kept low to discourage prospective candidates who think they cannot progress pass the initial Levels.

Level 1 Tasks - [$1200]

Packing of parcels - Skincare and cosmetic products

Mailing of parcels

Arranging for courier pickup

Stocktaking

Unpacking of goods


Level 2 Tasks - [$1350 - $1500]

Generating and printing mailing labels

Photoshop product pictures

Gathering product information

Listing of products on website and other marketplace platforms


Level 3 Tasks - [$1450 - $1800]

Handling of customer enquiries

Liaising with account managers from Lazada, Qoo10, Shopee etc. (English)

Plan promotions

Decide price points

Liaising with suppliers (English, Mandarin)

Submitting purchase orders

Ensuring smooth and fast transaction and timely delivery of goods


Level 4 Tasks - [$1900 - $2400]

Making purchasing decisions - amount of inventory to restock

Keeping up to date with the newest products and trends

Plan marketing campaigns


Level 5 Tasks - [>$2600]

Depends on individual aptitude, skills and business needs
