Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled leader who will be responsible for managing technology-heavy projects within the Lunch Actually Group. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will be:

• In charge of managing IT projects within the group

• Coordinating development in the context of specific projects from user requirements gathering, to functional specifications definition, development, testing and final delivery 
• Coordinating with core teams, updating on progress, and identifying red flags 
• Working with both the development team and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, assess the scope of engagement and plan the schedule of deliverable 
• Working with the technical team to ensure that the project is realistic and implementable 
• Ensuring a high standard of delivery by working with QA team 
• Keeping track of launch milestones 

Requirements

• Technical aptitude - you will not be doing heavy development but you need to have the technical depth when working with developers. You should be able to explain concepts like database modelling, OO, design patterns, frameworks, performance optimization, scalability, infrastructure.

• Degree in Computer Science 
• Experience in technical project management and planning 
• Experience in team management 
• Exceptional relationship management skills 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Responsible and self-motivated
