Purpose of the Role

To provide health and food safety expertise enabling the business to meet the required operational and legislative requirements in food safety

Duties and Responsibilities

Monitor the health and Food Safety performance of units in compliance with company policies through:

- Co Ordination of external auditors and audit process

-Monitoring of internal and external Health and FS audits

-Monitoring Local Authority enforcement activity Completion

of unit visits/inspections Accident and incident investigation

-Responding to customer related Health and Food Safety

complaints

Develop and measure performance criteria and report performance statistics and solution to the Senior Management team.

Ownership of Health & Safety, Food Safety and all legal manuals and documentation to ensure continuous and up to date information is available to provide commercially viable Health and Food Safety solutions to enable the business to be compliant

Identify the training needs required to improve food safety and health and safety standards and to ensure delivery of training sessions

Continue to maintain and develop where necessary Company Health and Food Safety policies compliant with legislative requirements
