Responsibilities: 

• Monitoring and recording of activities on site

• Detailed tracking of works activity progress, entering into P and monitoring variance

• Preparation and submission of daily/weekly plant and labour returns

• Preparation of weekly progress updates for each site to feed into Weekly Progress Report

• Review/integration of subcontractors works programs

• Early warning of potential program issues from site

• On-site assistance to Construction Managers in resolving program issues

• Provide Value Engineering study and propose alternative solutions for design and construction

• Liaise with consultants and prepare construction drawings

• Provide technical support for site operation

• Working in association with the Operations Department, to provide preconstruction planning services to enable expeditious commencement of work upon contract award

• Preparation of detailed work program, establishment of site access, organising of site establishment, materials and equipment scheduling, selection of suppliers and subcontractors, negotiation and evaluation of contract and any matters requiring attention for expeditious project, commencement and smooth implementation

• To assist in the setting-up and operations of a project planning software at site office using one of either Primavera or Microsoft Project

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent

• At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent

• Required skill(s): MS Office, MS Project, Primavera

• Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia

• Applicant must be willing to travel and work in site environment

• Must be willing to work according to site working hours

• Proactive in problem solving and dynamic

• Good communication, organizational skills and interpersonal skills

• Possess own transport
