Zoom Digital is looking for a web development team leader who can offer exceptional management and technical skills to oversee our web development projects and manage a growing team of developers.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering world class websites and applications and managing and motivating a team to consistently deliver the best possible outcomes.
The Role
- Take ownership and accountability for the build, testing and implementation of all web development projects
- Ensure all web builds are developed to the highest standards, using the latest, most robust technologies, platforms and code base.
- Ensure that all technical documentation is created and maintained to a high standard
- Develop the team through coaching, mentoring, and management support
- Work and collaborate alongside internal teams and also clients to deliver the best possible outcomes at all times
- Grow the technical expertise of your teams in web technologies, performance, scalability, maintainable architecture and experimentation
Experience, expertise & knowledge
- At least five years of experience leading, coaching and mentoring software development teams
- Significant knowledge and expertise of developing web and ecommerce platforms using HTML, PHP, CSS, Jquery, XML, JSON, SQL, REST and SOAP and CMS platforms such as Wordpress
- Educated to degree level with a relevant IT or computer sciences qualification
- Knowledge and experience of working in an agile development environment, heading daily scrum team activities and managing sprint planning sessions
