We are looking to take on an enthusiastic experienced Care Coordinator.

• Assigning care workers to the clients, whilst working within the standards and requirements of the company. Accepting and processing changes and amendments to existing care

• To manage the home care service and staff in accordance to our client's aims & objectives, policies and procedures

• To ensure the smooth operation of the business you may be instructed to carry out other duties commensurate to level of skill

• Coordinate staff rotas, ensuring adequate cover for all care and operational roles

• To develop detailed work schedules for the Care Assistants and providing both written and verbal instructions for guidance

• Acting as first point of contact for duty managers to report staff late or absence

• To represent the Company in a professional manner at all times, on the telephone, face to face or in written communication

• Developing care plans and rearranging them as necessary when difficulties arise.

• Responsible for the administration and co-ordination of care services

• To participate in growth and development of the business, achieving targets and delivery within budgets

• Communicating with potential service users, social services and brokerage teams, and establishing meetings with clients, the client's family and colleagues

• Ensuring company procedures and industry standards and regulations are followed

• Work closely with the Management team and report on activities, outcomes and services.

To manage on call (on a rota basis) during out of office hours

Whilst hands-on care is not a part of your day to day role, you will be expected to cover calls in emergencies

You'll need to have worked as a care coordinator within a domiciliary care office previously. One years experienced in a similar role would be preferred.

Ability to cope under pressure

Ability to deal with change or emergencies
