BIM Manager

Our Multi National Architectural & Design Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced BIM Manager to join their team in Dubai to work on high profile new hospitality, commercial, residential, and destination projects across the GCC.Key Responsibilities: Support and lead the BIM Management Office activities by participating in the development and implementation of the Digital Engineering Roadmap.Provide progress and performance updates as required by clients and the Design Director.Manage all formal correspondences related to BIM activities.Develop and support proposal leads in RFPs, including clarifications, technical write-ups, and effort estimations.Evaluate and manage hardware and software deployment; provide BIM software training.Support configuration and establishment of the Common Data Environment (CDE).Maintain BIM software templates and object libraries according to project standards.Develop and enforce BIM documentation and workflow standards.Automate routines in BIM to enhance standards, quality, and productivity.Develop BIM specifications and support their integration into tenders.Oversee the development and monitoring of BIM Execution Plans, TIDP, and MIDP for design delivery.Manage project design delivery, including modeling, detailing, scheduling, and data extraction.Ensure project Information Models are delivered per standards and protocols.Perform quality checks and validation of BIM models, including clash detection and resolution.Collaborate with project teams to address design changes and model challenges.Prepare validation reports for BIM submissions.Support quality assurance, contract, and project control activities related to BIM.Develop and support planning activities with 4D sequencing models.Monitor model use for health and safety planning during construction.Validate and support testing, commissioning, and as-built models.Ensure Asset Information Models meet client and maintenance system requirements, including COBie and O&M manual integration.Perform other related responsibilities as needed.Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering.5-8 years’ experience in major building project delivery.At least 5 years’ experience in BIM implementation and leading BIM Execution Plans on large projects.Experience with hospitality, residential, mixed-use, commercial, and destination projects.Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Dynamo, Grasshopper, Navisworks, VICO, Cost X, Synchro, BIM 360 or similar.Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.Preferably experience in Middle East/Gulf countries, but not essential. #J-18808-Ljbffr
