Job Title: General Ledger Accountant
Location: South JAFZA
Status: Full Time
Salary: up to AED 5,000 gross
For a Logistics provider based in Jebel Ali Free Zone
Responsibilities:
1. Maintains A/R ledger, ensures outstanding are cleared with credit period
2. Documents financial transactions by entering account information; recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options
3. Summarizes current financial status by collecting information assist in preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports
4. Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents
5. Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
6. Reconciles banking transactions daily, ensures discrepancies are sorted immediately.
