Working on a Permanent or Self Employed basis.
The role will involve extensive travel throughout the UK. The candidate should preferably be located at a reasonable travel distance from Northwest of England.
Responsibilities:
• Conducting audits against a range of accredited (BRC, ISO, IFS) and client bespoke standards.
• Produce audit reports
• Build strong business relationships with clients
• Ensure that all client's inquiries are handled with in a timely manner and provide a good customer service
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure a quality and efficient service
• Understand the client's market including opportunities and constraints
Skills:
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literate to an intermediate level (Microsoft Office)
• Flexible approach
• Being able to plan efficiently and also change plans on a short notice
Education/Qualifications:
Required:
• Degree in a food-related or bioscience discipline, or as a minimum have successfully completed a higher education course in a related discipline.
• Successful completion of an ISO 9000 Lead Assessor course
Desirable:
• Completed a HACCP training
• Post graduate experience in an Industry or quality management relevant to the food industry
• BRC qualified auditor
Work experience:
• 5 years' experience related to the food industry. This might be as auditor or under other functions within manufacturing/retailing such as quality assurance, food safety.
