JOB PURPOSE
- Managing the vendor database on behalf of the procurement department
- Delivering business engagement initiatives and ensuring the wider business community is aware of potential trade opportunities on Expo 2020
- Managing performance management of active contracts and providing feedback to internal stakeholders on supply chain performance
- Monitoring the vendor database categories and advising internal stakeholders of vendors for tender list selection

STRATEGY AND PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
*  Contribute to the development and implementation of the Vendor Management process
*  Establishment and management of key supply chain KPI systems and data gathering
*  Delivery of Business Engagement plan and promotion of the Tejari registration process

DAY-TO-DAY MANAGEMENT
*  Manage the day-to-day operations of vendor management function, providing guidance in the related area, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards

CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
*  Ensure that all active contracts have performance measurement criteria and delivering the collation of data

PROGRAMME DELIVERY AND COMPLETION
*  Ensure that vendor management is performed to contribute to the delivery of Expo 2020

SAVINGS AND INITIATIVES
Implement departmental initiatives relating to vendor management

VENDOR MANAGEMENT
*  Monitor and report on supplier performance, and facilitate regular performance reviews with stakeholders in order to assess value and quality of supplier services / products and inform decision-making on future collaborations
*  Maintain and regularly update qualified business suppliers' database, in line with Expo 2020 business needs, to ensure data on suppliers is easily stored, accessed and retrieved
*  Deliver the Business Engagement initiative

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
*  Establish and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders to ensure engagement in all activities and support for procurement strategy

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
*  Adhere to the procurement function policies, processes and procedures to ensure fulfillment of legislative / procedure requirements and alignment to operations

SUBORDINATES SUPERVISION
*  Supervise the activities of subordinates to ensure that all work within procurement function is carried out in an efficient manner and in compliance with the set policies, processes and procedures
*  Identify procurement staff development opportunities and assist in establishing an annual staff development plan

EHS (Environment, Health and Safety)
*  Comply with all relevant environment, health and safety procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
*  Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of procurement processes and practices taking into account ínternational best practice', improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement

AD-HOC REQUESTS
*  Perform any other related duties or assignments as directed by Director - procurement


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
*  2-5 year in relevant to job role (administration, preferably in procurement role)
*  Resourceful and well organised
*  Analytical and critical thinking
*  Problem solving Planning and organisation


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
*  Demonstration of good organisational, communication and IT skills
*  Experience using an ERP system preferable
