JOB PURPOSE
Providing and analyzing vendor and procurement spend data


ROLE DESCRIPTION

STRATEGY AND PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
*  Monitoring of key supply chain KPI systems and data gathering
* Implementation of Business Engagement plan and promotion of the Tejari registration

DAY-TO-DAY MANAGEMENT
*  Assist in delivery of the day-to-day operations of vendor management function, providing guidance in the related area, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards

CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
*  Reporting against contract performance measurement criteria and delivering the collation of data

PROGRAMME DELIVERY AND COMPLETION
*  Supporting the procurement team to contribute to the delivery of Expo 2020

SAVINGS AND INITIATIVES
*  Implement departmental initiatives relating to vendor management

VENDOR MANAGEMENT
*  Monitor and report on supplier performance, and facilitate regular performance reviews with stakeholders in order to assess value and quality of supplier services / products and inform decision-making on future collaborations
*  Maintain and regularly update qualified business suppliers' database, in line with Expo 2020 business needs, to ensure data on suppliers is easily stored, accessed and retrieved
*  Deliver the Business Engagement initiative

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
Establish and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders to ensure engagement in all activities and support for procurement strategy

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
*  Adhere to the procurement function policies, processes and procedures to ensure fulfillment of legislative / procedure requirements and alignment to operations

SUBORDINATES SUPERVISION
*  Supervise the activities of subordinates to ensure that all work within procurement function is carried out in an efficient manner and in compliance with the set policies, processes and procedures
*  Identify procurement staff development opportunities and assist in establishing an annual staff development plan

AD-HOC REQUESTS
*  Perform any other related duties or assignments as directed by Director - procurement


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
*  1-2 years in a relevant to job role (administration, preferably in procurement role)
*  High School Education
*  Resourceful and well organised
*  Analytical and critical thinking
*  Problem solving
*Planning and organization


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS'
*  Demonstration of good organisational, communication and IT skills
*  Experienced using ERP system preferable
