A well- established catering company in Abu Dhabi is on the lookout for an energetic, enthusiastic professional to join their team as a Director for their Marketing & Business Development.
Responsible for supporting the Marketing & Business Development within the organization, drives marketing, new business sales opportunities and client relationship management. Provides leadership and support to other team members, leading by example at all times.


MAIN DUTIES

• Manage business initiatives in a start-up environment, generating revenue and forming strategic partnerships under the guidance of the CEO and MD


• Effectively manage the Country Marketing & Business Development plan & budget

• Pro-actively identify new and different business opportunities

• Win customers in the earliest stage possible with limited support

• Assist with the design and implementation of the client contact systems

• Manage electronic marketing efforts ensuring they are consistent with the company's brand standards

• Prepares and presents Marketing & Business Development reports and presentations to the Executive Team when required

• Maintains a database of potential clients, projects and the competition

• Along with the BD Manager, responsible for the Bid Centre and for ensuring that all RFI, RFQ's and RFP's are responded to in a timely and accurate manner

• Attends necessary events and trade shows representing the organisation in a professional manner

• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the local industry issues, trends and news


• Responsible for overall daily Marketing & Business Development operations under the guidance of the CEO & MD

• Plans and organises marketing presentations and client visits on a weekly basis

• Orders supplies, maintains records and accounts (when required)

• Manages allocated annual budgets for the department, performing periodic analysis

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry partners, authorities, industry associations, operators and trade partners

• Evaluates and manages key accounts and new business development opportunities effectively


• Assists with the management and negotiations of tenders and contracts

• Undertakes the necessary Domestic and International travel required to develop a successful, professional and long-term client relationships


• Proactively identifies new potential key accounts and target markets

• Conducts Performance Reviews of any Marketing & Business Development team member's

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIRED


• Degree qualified in Marketing, Sales, International Business or similar

EXPERIENCE

• At least 5-years proven work experience Marketing & supporting Business Development in UAE


• At least 3-years' experience working in the Hospitality/Healthcare or Facilities Management Industry


• At least 2-years' experience in Key Account and New Business Development

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a start-up environment

• Proven negotiation skills

• Fluent in Arabic would be a strong plus point

• A strong existing client contact base and excellent reputation in the industry

• Fluent in spoken & written English and Arabic

• Demonstrates a solid understanding of Marketing & Business Development

• Demonstrates an understanding of key account management and developing client relationships


• Lead by example, demonstrating a high level of patience, calmness and positivity in the workplace

• Demonstrates strong leadership skills and is a team player

• Rapport and relationship building abilities at a commercial level

• Results-driven individual

• Ability to work autonomously

• Project management, problem solving and organization skills


• Advanced computer literacy

• Business plan and report writing skills

• Ability to travel both domestically & Internationally (when required)
