1. Monitors and directs, in collaboration with the construction team, all site activities to ensure objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget parameters.
2. Assess and reviews the projects' Performance to determine accurate status of projects, making tactical decisions for allocating resources, and assigning staff requirements, to maintain projects on target.
3. Reviews periodic status reports prepared by the planning engineer, prepares and presents reports for Department Manager, including monthly summary reports.
4. Ensures all construction sites have effective resources and perform with the expected efficiency and productivity.
5. Ensure proper closeout of projects including handing over process to the client, preparation of related documents, and completion of all reported snag list.
6. To make the required review and reporting on design and technical issues to the Department Manager in coordination with other senior engineers and oversee the production of design documents including but not limited to conceptual & detailed design drawings, Bill of Quantities, technical specifications, etc.
7. To ensure that all construction, demolition, consultancy and associated tenders are issued administered and accepted in line with Standing Orders.
8. To encourage, facilitate and support best practice and standardization within the Engineering Department team, providing its members with opportunities for Continuous Professional Development
CORE DELIVERABLES:
Main responsibilities include delivering every project on time within budget and scope. Project managers should have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis.
INTERNAL CROSS WORKING RELATIONS (DEPARTMENTAL):
Reporting directly to Engineering Department Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
Relevant Experience/ Training :
Minimum Ten years of experience mainly in civil design, infrastructure and landscape design and construction.
Project Management Courses, MP is preferable.
